#SAMSUNG #DeX now works with USBC cable but more importantly with the #GalaxyNote10 it sports a new integrated experience thanks to #Microsoft #LinktoWindows starting with messages and content and adding calls by the end of the year pic.twitter.com/AFZU3hT23k

I got to spend some time with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. I’m intrigued by DeX and totally enamored with the smaller one. https://t.co/P5jWAyMEn2 pic.twitter.com/Oyix4pXtSh

Queue the funeral dirge for the headphone jack.
— Geoffrey A. Fowler (@geoffreyfowler) August 7, 2019
Samsung's Galaxy Note10 offers just a USB-C port for headphones and charging.
You get USB-C headphones in the box — but no dongle to connect your existing buds.https://t.co/xDqGnyB6Pl pic.twitter.com/R14RqyzHEf
Microsoft and Samsung have been forming this partnership for months. It's very deep, and involves collaboration in retail, cloud, and devices. You'll notice in Microsoft Stores that products will be matched like this from now on https://t.co/oBLOvSarQY pic.twitter.com/Fr0To3wxkr

The Galaxy Note10+ has a gigantic 6.8-inch screen.

It’s the largest (non-folding) phone Samsung has ever made.

Sounds like a great step forward. Now please get them to drop Bixby and replace it with Cortana.

Our partnership with @Samsung was one of the first things I worked on at Microsoft. Five years later, it’s still going strong. Incredible to see how we’ve grown together and excited for what’s ahead! https://t.co/pubYBJoTWV

I’ve updated our hands-on with details from Samsung’s keynote — these AR doodles and 3D scanning capabilities seem better here than what I heard about in the pre-brief.
— Dieter Bohn (@backlon) August 7, 2019
Hope they’re as fun IRL.https://t.co/F2yQ3bGN0u pic.twitter.com/ZWeanFy3mE
Hopefully this means that Bixby is dead, and the Bixby button will be remap-able from the OS in the next release. Should be able to use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. https://t.co/Y60isNGHM7
— soonergrunt ?? (@soonergrunt) August 8, 2019
What’s interesting is that Samsung is obviously reliant on Google for its mobile OS, but I’m not sure the word “Android” was even uttered today. Instead we’re hearing about direct sharing from Note10 phones to Microsoft software and Windows running on a Samsung clamshell.

This is an EXCELLENT take. Two words not mentioned today: "Android" and (after the initial promo videos) "Bixby."
— Sascha Segan (@saschasegan) August 7, 2019
Also, so far, "Galaxy Fold" and "Galaxy Home." https://t.co/nmzcZzBxDb
Really didn't think Samsung would take the headphone jack out of the Note. Knew it was coming at some point, but feels like the Galaxy S11 would've been a better time to do it. Removing the 3.5 mm jack from the "power user" phone just doesn't make sense.

Microsoft tells me the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will include a folder with the OneDrive app, Outlook app, the LinkedIn app, and access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint https://t.co/oBLOvSarQY pic.twitter.com/bS6fvB40tU
— Tom Warren (@tomwarren) August 8, 2019
I’m more sad that I can’t watch Samsung commercials sniping about headphone jacks than I am that the Note 10 doesn't have one.
— Dieter Bohn (@backlon) August 7, 2019
Still tho: bit of a bummer.https://t.co/5WyU9TJNeQ
I just got confirmation from @Samsung. No version of the #Note10 is compatible with the GearVR. Not a huge loss tbh. Standalone is where it's at. #VR
— Anshel Sag (@anshelsag) August 7, 2019
Pretty interesting decision from Samsung on this. I think the real tell about the future of the Gear VR will be if the next Galaxy S phones support it. https://t.co/OQbm0LEcbs

Samsung finally upped its charging game on the new Notes.
— Andrew Martonik (@andrewmartonik) August 7, 2019
Note 10: 25W wired, 12W wireless
Note 10+: 45W wired, 15W wireless
No more weak charging rates. Note 10+ will hit about 70% charge in 30 minutes on a 45W charger. That's fantastic.
