Isn't this another "ugh, 2019!" moment? Exclusives on Xbox platform are passé, now let's have exclusive GAME PLAYER EXTRAORDINAIRE on the streaming platform! https://t.co/wWVuqvlpDW

Ninja signing with Mixer is the gaming/streaming world equivalent of Howard Stern signing with Sirius. Both moved from huge audiences to platforms that are quite a bit smaller. Stern was able to attract a lot of subscribers. It'll be interesting to see Ninja's impact on Mixer.

Mixer, which is owned by Microsoft, likely paid *a lot* of money for this deal. This will be one of the first real tests for whether people are more loyal to the platform (Twitch) or creator (Ninja).

So... huh?!? I am so curious about this contract - what is mixer’s monetization like? Wasn’t he making $300,000 a month at one point from twitch subs alone? Is this really going to be the deal that launches Mixer past Twitch? Is that even their goal?I’m fascinated by this. https://t.co/IvfdEzHfaY

I had the pleasure of meeting him last year. He took the time to take a photo and chat and is a chill dude. This is a huge win for the platform can’t wait to see what you do man. Welcome to our home. https://t.co/wWuhbCwY2c

This is fascinating, & I'm obsessed with following how media platforms are evolving (and dying) as a result of the changing behaviors of online viewers & creators.
