Salesforce, Tableau를 157 억 달러에 인수

• LinkedIn과 Tableau 사이에는 공통점이 많지 않지만 LinkedIn을 구입하는 데는 열심히 노력했지만 (Microsoft가 대신 집어감), Salesforce가 Salesforce가 이미 가지고있는 고객 참여(그리고 데이터 인텔리전스)를 확대하는  데 도움이 될 것입니다. LinkedIn도 도움이 될 수도 있었던 것이지요.

• Tableau는 Charles Schwab, Verizon (TC 소유), Schneider Electric, Southwest 및 Netflix 등 약 86,000 명의 비즈니스 고객을 보유하고 있습니다.
• Salesforce는 Tableau는 3 분기에 인수가 완료된 후에도 Selipsky 밑에서 독립적인 브랜드로 계속 운영될 것이라고 말했습니다.
