- Second intrusion was between April 21 and 22, 2019
- Breach detected on April 23 after staff noticed "suspicious activity" on its database network

"If you created or changed your password after March 14, 2012, it is hashed with a function called bcrypt."
"If you have not changed your password since then, it is uniquely salted and hashed with SHA-1."

Flipboard said it worked with its partners to invalidate and replace all digital tokens that might have been exposed during the breach.

This includes ditigal tokens for Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Samsung accounts.
Flipboard said it does not have a total tally of impacted accounts, but was positive that not all accounts were affected.
