iFixit은 삼성 Galaxy Fold가 왜 허약하다는 것을 추측합니다.

• 그러나 이 디자인에 문제가 있습니다. 주름의 바로 안쪽에 먼지나 작은 쓰레기로부터 보호가 전혀 없기 때문에 파티클이 화면의 뒷면에 쉽게 들어갈 수 있습니다.
• 첫 번째 Samsung Galaxy Fold 유닛이 검토자에게 넘어갈 즉시 디스플레이는 좌우가 망가지기 시작했습니다.
• 내가 제일 떠오르는 것은 삼성에서 아무도 자신의 손과 주머니로 이 장치를 테스트 한 적이 없다는 것입니다. 개발 프로세스 초기에 발견 될 수 있는 문제인 것처럼 보입니다.
• 삼성 전자가 전화 출시 지연을 결정한 이유에 대해서는 아직 충분히 알지 못하지만이 파편 / 부풀기 문제는 상부 보호 층이 벗겨질 화면 보호기처럼 보인다는 사실 보다 훨씬 더 근본적으로 느끼고 있습니다. 
• 정리하면, OLED 디스플레이가 갤럭시 폴드의 문제의 핵심인데, 특히 고릴라 글래스와 같은 보호 층이 없기 때문입니다.
