Amazon deletes some anti-vaxx content from streaming service [www.axios.com]
My story on this is up (https://t.co/z6BMEcAUBd) This follows @jonsarlin's reporting yesterday on anti-vax content on Amazon. I noticed the change because one of these videos turned off while I was watching it! https://t.co/2e4xVfUwrw

I noticed the change because I'd been playing "Shoot 'Em Up: The Truth About Vaccines" this morning, which is no longer available on Prime. Currently its page says "Our agreements with the content provider don’t allow purchases of this title at this time."

Following our reporting and a letter from Rep. Adam Schiff, Amazon has apparently taken down Anti-Vax movies from Prime, but kept up its anti-vax books https://t.co/lE6fY26R8u

Less than two hours ago, a search for "vaccines" on Amazon Prime had VAXXED (an anti-vax doc) as the top result. Now, that video doesn't appear anywhere in the search results, and you can no longer stream VAXXED on Amazon. pic.twitter.com/NYWJ1DUJ7h

I've reached out to Amazon asking what happened to these videos, why they aren't appearing in search anymore, and why they can't be streamed https://t.co/aZrZ20V38h

@RepAdamSchiff aka woody from toy story is doing the dirty work for big Pharma, he ignores the vaccine injuries and dangers of vaccination. He ignores the #cdcwhistleblower and in-fact is stopping his testimony about the connection to autism. #Vaxxed https://t.co/ZALbUtvIqz

NEW: My interview with @RA_Becks @verge. When I wrote #VACCINES DID NOT CAUSE RACHEL'S #AUTISM, I anticipated opposition from #antivax lobby, but never dreamed I would find Me/Rachel in an epic battle with @amazon, now among the great antivax enablers. https://t.co/ost3jGDvPd

OK it's a start, but what we're now seeing from the major media platforms = incremental measures to minimize corporate exposure, quiet criticisms in the short term, without seriously addressing their culpability/complicity in promoting #antivax movement https://t.co/2Tkz5ywBUJ

The world is definitely a better place without anti-vax videos on Amazon, but I'm really uneasy about the companies we pay for access to media being the arbiters of what media we should be allowed to see.https://t.co/Yz0oJFuiAT
