To me, these phones end up feeling like more than the sum of their refinements. (A review headline somebody might have written but now it's been used by somebody who works for Google so you can't, sorry.) You look back after using them and realize your habits have changed.

What’s very interesting is that they’ve actually been making each version slightly shorter as they look to perfect the size of it. Here’s all four generations of the @SamsungMobileUSA Galaxy Fold side-by-side and this picture speaks a 1000 words. #unpacked2022 pic.twitter.com/gMHzxpiw8S

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has seen great improvements in all the right places. Charging, camera sensors, durability, form factor, and more have all improved with the latest flagship foldable. Our impressions: https://t.co/qQk703HfUb

One of the most welcome improvements in the #GalaxyZFold4 is the camera. It now has basically the same camera setup as the #GalaxyS22Plus which is pretty good.

- 50MP main sensor

I’m excited! #unpacked2022 pic.twitter.com/NC2UxULQaQ
Upgraded TikTok experience on Z Fold 4, ok maybe they will manage to break into the mainstream. pic.twitter.com/uBPY92ZbF7

The new Samsung Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are more rugged, with slimmer hinges, a stronger glass around the crease and stickier adhesives to keep the protective screens from peeling.

Don't worry, no hot dogs this time. @dalvin_brown with the details:https://t.co/4Au6HJjz8u
Samsung is having its "we have to have our product event in the middle of the summer so that we beat Apple ahead of their September event" product event today.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is even more approachable, more "normal" than the last gen. In a brief time with it last week it just feels more manageable as an everyday device. That's a huge victory.https://t.co/85JAVMUKgG

I was able to check out Samsung's new Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. The theme of the year appears to be REFINEMENT -- that's a bit boring but not a bad thing!!

Lots of great hands on with the new Samsung devices, but I wanted to put in my (now biased!) 2c: the dedication to hardware craft in these phones, especially the Fold, is more impressive the closer you look. Try to use one in person, feel the hinge close, the subtle changes...
— Dieter Bohn (@backlon) August 10, 2022
Beyond that, there’s some big changes in the displays overall as well. Still measuring 7.6 and 6.2-inches for Main screen and Cover Screen, aspect ratios are tweaked & they are slightly shorter, wider, and brighter.

Gorilla Glass Victus+ means they’re 45% tougher! #unpacked2022 pic.twitter.com/9s8hmI6PHh
Last week, I went hands-on with Samsung's new Galaxy Fold 4. It's a solid foldable smartphone with a more powerful chip and an upgraded primary shooter, but it's nearly identical to the Fold 3. https://t.co/pzKALaC8ak #SamsungUnpacked

I am also excited to see how people start using the Fold differently now that you can have a permanent taskbar at the bottom of the big screen for faster app switching and multitasking. It's another subtle change that ended up being a bigger deal than I expected at first use...

The Z Fold 4 gets a lot of the improvements I wanted: slightly more natural design when closed, better cameras, etc. But it's still so expensive: https://t.co/clXjrNzVsL
