독일 정부가 유럽연합(EU)에 제출한 제안에 따르면 애플을 비롯한 스마트폰 생산업체들은 환경을 위해 제품 카테고리를 개선하기 위해 아이폰 등 기기에 보안 패치와 예비 부품을 7년간 제공해야 합니다. 독일 연방정부는 유럽위원회와 스마트폰과 태블릿 수리 및 서비스에 영향을 미치는 제안을 변경하기 위한 협상에 들어갔습니다. 유럽 집행위원회가 5년 동안 부품 및 지원을 제공하도록 장치 공급업체를 압박하는 동안 독일은 더 많은 작업이 이루어지기를 원하고 있습니다.
