미국 최대 항공사인 아메리칸항공은 14일 "코로나19로 인해 격리해야 하는 무백신 직원들에게 다음 달부터 특별 휴가를 주지 않을 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.예방접종을 받지 않은 근로자들은 질병으로 인해 결근할 경우 병가를 사용해야 할 것이라고 회사 측은 밝혔습니다.

• FDA가 승인한 백신이 있기 때문에, 전염병 휴가는 완전히 백신을 접종하고 우리에게 백신 카드를 제공하는 팀원들에게만 제공될 것입니다,'라고 통신은 직원들에게 메모에서 말했습니다.
• 항공사는 모든 신입사원에 대해 예방접종을 의무화하고 예방접종 증명서를 제공하는 직원에게 $200를 지급합니다.'
• 한편, Delta Airlines는 지난 달 예방접종을 받지 않은 직원들은 11월부터 매달 200달러의 의료 보험료를 내야 한다고 발표했습니다.
