자율주행차 기술 포트폴리오를 강화하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 엔비디아는 최근 스타트업 딥맵 인수 계약을 발표했습니다. 엔비디아가 거래 가치를 공개하지 않은 가운데 엔비디아는 2021년 3분기 중 인수(규제 승인 보류)를 마무리할 것으로 기대한다고 밝혔습니다. 이번 구매로 엔비디아는 딥맵스의 기술을 이용한 고해상도 맵으로 엔비디아 드라이브 플랫폼을 강화하기를 희망하고 있습니다.

• "승용 차량에서 완전한 자율성을 달성하기 위한 가장 큰 과제 중 하나는 현재 도로 상황을 반영하는 적절한 지역화와 업데이트된 지도 정보를 달성하는 것입니다.
• "Nvidia와 힘을 합치면 우리 기술이 더 빨리 확장되고 더 많은 사람들에게 더 빨리 혜택을 줄 수 있을 것입니다.
