If Apple is experimenting with a hardware combo of video streamer, smart speaker and camera ... surely they have to be thinking about adding a screen in there too and ya know just making the actual TV.

Logistically, an Apple TV box with an integrated camera is easier said than done: a lot of people have their TVs mounted on a wall and the box is hidden off to the side or in a cabinet, so the camera would not be at a good angle to actually see people in the room.

When I found the camera framework references in tvOS I thought that was for a nest hub competitor but an Apple TV set top box that can do video conferencing sounds interesting.
