휴대폰용 삼성 12GB LPDDR4X RAM 대량 생산 시작

• 삼성 전자는 업계 최초로 12 기가 바이트 (GB)의 저전력 DDR (Double Data Rate) 4X (LPDDR4X) 패키지 고용량 모바일 DRAM을 대량 생산하기 시작했다고 발표했습니다.
• 또한, 1.1mm 두께로 더욱 세련된 스마트 폰 디자인이 가능합니다.
• 1y-nm 기술은 소비 전력의 증가를 최소화하면서 34.1 GBps의 데이터 전송 속도를 가능하게합니다.
• 12GB 용량은 2 세대 10nm 클래스 (1y-nm) 프로세스를 기반으로 한 6 개의 16 기가비트 (Gb) LPDDR4X 칩을 단일 패키지로 결합하여 스마트폰 배터리를 위한 공간을 더 확보합니다.
• 삼성전자는 2011 년 1GB 모바일 DRAM을 출시 한 이래로 모바일 DRAM 시장에서 2015 년 6GB에서 2016 년 8GB (2016)까지 12GB LPDDR4X 로의 용량 혁신을 계속 추진하고 있습니다. 예상되는 높은 수요를 충족시키기 위해 삼성은 평택의 최첨단 메모리 라인에서 2019 년 하반기에 1y-nm 기반의 8GB 및 12GB 모바일 DRAM 공급을 3 배 이상 늘릴 계획입니다.
